Telemedicine Appointments During COVID 19 Public Health Emergency

I am notifying current patients about upcoming appointments.

The major health care systems in the area are providing virtual care whenever possible because of the evolving COVID 19 outbreak in our region.  The purpose of using virtual care is to break the chain of virus transmission from person to person in public places like medical offices and crowded public places.

My office is adopting the same practice.

My staff will be working from home in order to provide you with uninterrupted service.

I will provide your care by telemedicine, phone, or Facetime.

Telemedicine Option:

My telemedicine system meets healthcare privacy standards.  You do not need any special software to have a telemedicine appointment with me.  For telemedicine, you will access my virtual office by a website.  You can use your cellphone or computer as long as you have a good internet connection and a camera and microphone.

“Check in” for telemedicine appointment:

Restarting your computer prior to our visit may improve the quality of the picture.

Please use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for your browser.

Enter this website into the browser: https://doxy.me/drjackconway

Enter your name and click “Check-in.”

I will receive an alert that you are in the virtual “waiting room” and start the visit with you.

This system is new.  We may have some hiccups along the way.  Please call the office or 206-909-4854 if something is not working correctly.  If you prefer, we can conduct your appointment by phone or FaceTime.

My goals are to support public health recommendations.  By working together as a community, we will bring this outbreak to a close as quickly as possible.

Specializing in Adult Psychiatry.

I  specialize in adult psychiatry and provide psychotherapy and medication  management for common psychiatric disorders such as Depression,  Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Panic Disorder.  My  treatment approach emphasizes thorough diagnostic assessment with  consideration of the array of conventional and complimentary  treatments.

Insurance and Payment

I  am an "out of network" provider.  Full payment is due at each visit. I  will provide you with a statement that you can submit to your insurance  company for reimbursement directly. Many plans offer "out of network"  benefits, though some do not.  If you are planning to seek  reimbursement, I encourage you to contact your insurance carrier to find  out about your "out of network" benefit so that you can anticipate your  out-of-pocket expense prior to scheduling an appointment.
